INGREDIENTS

  • Forest berries* (blackberries, raspberries, blueberries, lingonberries)
  • 1 lime
  • 1 apple
  • A handful of walnuts

* I tend to use frozen berries during the winter and fresh berries in the summer. Both work. As for quantity, a filled cereal bowl provides enough for about four servings.

Servings: 4-5

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Defrost the berries if using frozen.
  2. Chop the apple into small, bite-sized pieces.
  3. Place the apple and berries in a large bowl and toss with the juice of the lime until evenly coated.
  4. Divide the mixture between individual bowls, or glass jars if wishing to store.*
  5. Sprinkle with crushed walnuts and voilà. A tasty snack, perfect for home or on the go.

*Keeps in the fridge for up to a week.
